We spent Dillon's Birthday weekend and Mothers Day in Hamilton with family. For some reason in all these years we have not made it to the Toronto Zoo with the boys. Carith was visiting and it was one of Dillons Birthday requests - a perfect opportunity.
with all of our traveling we make an effort to keep our birthday tradition of waking to a little surprise - where ever we may be
the Toronto Zoo is on the outside of the city and is hundreds of acres in size
Carith jokingly told the boys there was an Orangutan under the tarp - joke was on her when one popped out!!!!!
because the zoo is so big we new we cold only see a part of it - Dillon, the sweet brother he is made sure to include many turtles for Ronan in his list of must sees
I spy a tiger napping
Oh what fun! Not only a sweet way to celebrate your son's birthday, but I love hearing how well tended the animals are. 5 acres for polar bears made my heart sing. I will be showing this post, and all its beautiful captures to the boys later on. Then Toronto will be on their list of places to visit!
ReplyDeleteAnother great adventure. Hope you all are well. xo
Thank you Rebecca - we are all doing well. You would enjoy the zoo very much with your boys. It is a great place to wander around and the animals are very well taken care of. Definitely add TO to your list - a wonderful city to visit.

I love the zoo, and have heard amazing things about Toronto in general. The green tree frogs are one of my favorites. Probably because they hold still for pictures:-) Where to next?
ReplyDeleteWe love zoo's to - we try to visit them where ever we are. Toronto is definitely a great city!!!! Early next week we are heading south - to Mexico for some time with Michael's mom.
