Last Day

Our last day in Worthing was bittersweet.  Excited to go and see family, spend time on the farm, head south of the border for some beach time, and whatever other trouble we could get ourselves into.  Sad to be leaving Michael for a couple of months - even though he would be busy at the hospital and studying for his next board exams we would miss him immensely.  We spent the day enjoying our time together and letting the day taking us where it may.

you are an awesome dad and husband and cannot wait to be with you again

  1. Oh Chey! These are some of your most beautiful photos yet. There is something just magical about all of them. the composition, the tones of light to dark, the joy and the aching. Perhaps it is because I can feel the love emanating from this post for your family -time apart and the time to be together again soon. Time away from parents is so hard. Even when they are a bit older like yours(and mine) -I was away a lot this past year when my mother was finally diagnosed and it was hard, hard on the boys, even though they understood and cared, they missed me.

I hope this time goes fast for you all while you wait for the next step. Again, your photos are magical and amazing. xo

    1. Rebecca, Thank you for your sweet words. They mean so much to me. It took me awhile to compile this post and I am sure it was waiting to see just what the photos had to say. I agree even though the older kiddos understand the "why" it does not mean they don't miss their parent. It will be all the more special when we are all together again.
