Before the big day

It is official, Michael passed his first board exams and we are headed to England.  We are so proud of him and all his hard work.  Although since the end of April Michael has been busy studying, the boys and I filled our time visiting friends and family.  Our days have been occupied with working out the logistics of yet another international move via airplane, visa applications, student funding, home schooling supplies, filling closets with clothing appropriate for rain and cool temperatures (something we have not needed since living on a tropical island), finding a flat that would work as a great home base for as much European travel we can squeeze in and be comfortable for many hours spent indoors - the list seems endless but it appears it is all coming together.

so until lift off on the 1st of Aug.  we will continue to enjoy time with our family and friends.
